This is a teaching qualification that will enable successful candidates to be a qualified aquatic teacher and deliver aquatics lesson.
You will have an understanding of the aquatic environment and an understanding of appropriate corrections to common aquatic faults.
Candidates must be 17 years of age at the start of the course and hold ASA Level 1 Award or equivalent. Candidates will be assessed on their practical work throughout the course by the tutor/assessor and will need to present written work in the form of the ASA Level 2 Aquatic Teacher Portfolio.
Structure of the Qualification
The ASA Level 2 Swimming Teacher is made up of a series of component parts: theoretical questions, observation record and review record, all of which are internally assessed by the course tutor and through the ASA AB Verification process. All learning outcomes and assessment criteria must be achieved and work must be that of the learner only.

The cost of the course is £616.00 (This includes your registration fee for the course with ASA and portfolio).
