Teen Intro PT Induction which costs £10.00. This includes a 60 minute 1-1 session with one of our qualified Personal Trainers to create a programme and ensure you are able to use appropriate equipment in a safe manner

Additional Information
  • For children aged up to 15 yrs
  • Activa gym – for 13 up to 15 year olds. Term-time 4.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Holiday time up to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Unlimited use during weekend gym opening times
  • Children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied in the water, in any of the pools, by an adult (16+ years)
  • Zumba, Street Dancercise, Circuits, Line Dancing and all Water Fitness classes are suitable for 14 years and over. All other Group Fitness classes are 16+
  • BORN TO MOVE classes are for 6 – 7 years or 8 – 12 years 
  • Street Dance classes are for 8 years & over. Mini Street Dance classes are for 3-7 years.

All new members are advised to book a 1st Personal Training induction, which costs £10. This includes a 60 minute 1-1 session with one of our qualified Personal Trainers to create a programme and ensure you gain maximum benefit from your workout.

Teen Fitness (13 yrs up to 15 yrs) who wish to use Activa Gym must undertake a compulsory induction and there are two options:

Additional Information

Freedom concession memberships are only valid for use:

  • Aqua Springs from 9.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday and 10.00am to 2.00pm Saturday and Sunday.
  • All other activities included in the membership can be used at anytime except after 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Joint Membership

Available to Health/Fitness or Fitness Members

  • Join with your spouse, partner or friend and save up to £9.99 each per month (available on non-contract membership)
  • Pay one joining fee between you
  • All we need is proof that you both live at the same address and have one direct debit between you

Corporate Membership

Available to Health/Fitness or Fitness Members

  • Discount available if there are 5 or more members of staff taking out membership
  • Waive the £20 joining fee
  • Packages include company or employee funded membership

Additional Information
  • Payments must be made in advance and collected by Direct Debit or annual payment
  • Leisure World requires 30 days notice in writing to cancel the direct debit inclusive car park membership
  • Vehicles may not be left in the car park for more than 48 hours continuously
  • Vehicles must have current road tax, insurance and MOT
  • Trailers and caravans are not included in the car park scheme
  • Users must comply with the current parking regulations displayed in the car park
  • Spaces are not guaranteed
  • Membership may be suspended if your Direct Debit fails authorisation
  • This membership has limited availability. Failure to keep up payments may mean that this membership is no longer available
  • Leisure World reserves the right to withdraw this product/scheme giving 30 days notice in writing
  • This membership type is subject to availability

LEAP Exercise Referral Scheme

The LEAP Programme is an exercise referral scheme for Health Professionals to refer patients to Leisure World Colchester for an activity programme.

Patients are also able to self-refer to the scheme for certain conditions. LEAP Self Referral Form.

LEAP Classes and activities are available on a Pay-As-You-Go basis or by purchasing a 1 or 3 month pass.
