Introductory 1-1 sessions with one of our qualified Personal Trainers are available for £10.00 following an induction to devise a programme to ensure you gain maximum benefit from your workout.

In order to provide equality of access to the Council’s sports and leisure facilities; ensuring that those on lower incomes and recognised groups are encouraged to and are financially able to access the leisure facilities.
As of 1 January 2015 My Leisure Card holders will no longer qualify for an automatic concession when they reach their 60th birthday. Any customer in receipt of state benefits, regardless of age, is still eligible to apply for a concessionary Leisure Card.
How do I know if I am eligible for a concession My Leisure Card?
The following shows what will be required as proof of eligibility for the concession My Leisure Card.
1. Students in full-time education – written proof of enrolment on a full-time course must be shown.
2. Serving Military personnel & Military Veterans – Military ID card must be shown.
3. Means tested – You will need one piece of evidence for one of the criteria listed below:
You must confirm and provide the relevant proof that you are either in receipt of one of the below benefits or that you are the partner or dependant child (under 20 years and in full-time non-advanced education) of a claimant of one of the below benefits.

The above criteria is subject to change at any time and it may mean that you are no longer eligible for a concession My Leisure Card. Colchester Borough Council reserves the right to request proof of eligibility at any time, even if this has previously been provided.
